Here we are at the end of another year. It has certainly been a challenging but rewarding time at East Waikiki Primary School.

This week has been busy with our final Book Award and Graduation Assemblies and Graduation Night. Through the week we have highlighted the journey our students have been involved in throughout 2020 and preparations for term 1 in 2021.

Looking back on 2020, parents have been well represented by the School Council, chaired by Tanya Sander.

I would also like to thank our P&C President, Tracy Harris who even through a difficult year has been able to continue to support the school

2020 has been a successful year through the dedication and enthusiasm of our school staff.  Their commitment to the progress of their students is fantastic.  Having said that, unfortunately a number of our staff will be leaving and we wish them all the best in the future.  I would like to farewell:

  • Mrs Robinson
  • Ms Martin
  • Mr Abel – who is taking 12 months leave

Finally, I would like to wish you all a very safe and happy Christmas with those who are important to you, and look forward to seeing our students return safely in 2021. School concludes for students today the 17th December at normal time. School resumes on Monday 1st February 2021.

We hope all our families have a wonderful and safe break.
