NWSLTR 8 – From the Principal

Dear Parents and Carers,
It has been another busy couple of weeks at our school. So busy we forgot to put out last week’ newsletter.

It has been great to see the fantastic from students in classes and the range of activities happening across the school. This week classes began planting the Bush Tucker gardens with Mr Collard and Ms Taylor. We also had help from Mr Lothian and from Bunnings Rockingham. The beds are already looking fantastic.

We also had a visit to the Year 5 and 6 classes from WA Police presenting the “Think You Know Program”. Again our students were fantastic in listening and asking some great questions.

Congratulations to our students who took part in the Interschool Winter Carnival last week.

Just a couple of reminders

  • Could everyone please ensure that your child is NOT bringing toys such as ‘pop-its’ to school unless this has been specifically discussed with their classroom teacher.
  • Also please also remember that jewellery is not a part of our uniform. (Small stud earrings are acceptable) Unless it is for religious purposes, necklaces should NOT be worn. This is also a safety measure as it can potentially get ripped out or pulled on during playtime.
