Congratulations to the students who participated in the 2 big sporting carnivals earlier this week, our Faction Swimming Carnival, and the Senior Summer Sport Carnival.
To Mrs Henwood and Mr Matthews for their organization of the school Faction carnival, we extend a big thank you. Maximum participation from over 260 students, gave everyone the chance to get wet, enjoy races and have fun in the pool. The championship winners will be announced at assembly next week, and these parents will be invited to attend. Our year 5/6 Soccer, Netball and European Handball teams represented our school well, with the girls’ soccer team coming away victorious. Thank you again to Mrs Henwood for working with other local schools to organize this event, and to our year 5/6 teachers who supervised students at the carnival or at school. What a great team they are.
