Kaya wanjoo. Welcome to the 2021 school year. Our school year started really well on Monday with our staff welcoming students into their new classes.
Thank you to everybody for making it such a smooth start as we came out of lockdown and our students have settled quickly into the new school year.
Last year was quite an unusual year in many aspects. I started in the role as principal of East Waikiki Primary School for a short time at the end of term 1 2020 and continued on term by term placement until the end of 2020. Currently I am continuing as principal until end of Term1 2021.
2020 was a successful year through the dedication and enthusiasm of our school staff. Their commitment to the progress of their students was fantastic. Having said that, unfortunately a number of our staff left at the end of 2020 and we wish them all the best in the future. I would like to farewell:
