Dear YEAR 2 ONLY Parents and Carers

As part of our HASS Learning Programme the students of Year 2 will be attending an excursion in Mandurah where they will visit the Mandurah Community Museum, Halls Cottage and Serpentine Walk Trail. This applies to the students of Rooms 6, 10 and the Year 2 students in Room 9.

At the Museum, each small group of students will move and work through activities and exhibits from the past. The activities are hands-on and allow the students the opportunity to handle a range of old-fashioned household, teaching and play items.

At Halls Cottage students will learn about cooking in days gone by. After lunch we will visit the Serpentine River to explore more historical sites along the riverbank.

When:                                 Wednesday, 9th of September 2020

Departure from school:    8:30am sharp. Please be at school by 8.20am

Return to school:              by 2.30pm

Cost:                                   $10.00 including transport, $1 entry to museum $2 Halls Cottage activities.

Permission Forms:            Completed, signed with payment returned to your child’s classroom teacher by Monday 31^st August 2020.

Students will need           Hat – Waterbottle

Recess in a labelled bag

Lunch in a separate bag (no lunchboxes please) with names on please
